The Theosophical Society brought to the attention of the general public, for the first time in the modern age, a topic of great importance. This is the existence of a group of enlightened beings, the Mahatmas or Masters of Wisdom, who are willing to take disciples in what they called the path of occultism. This path consists of intense spiritual work that enables the disciple to go through a series of initiations taking place in non-physical states of consciousness. Its aim is not one of personal advantage, but of preparation to become a server of humanity. In this class sponsored by the Partners in Theosophy program, Vicente Hao Chin will present an introductory talk on Friday evening. For the remaining program, Pablo Sender will explore the qualifications necessary to tread this path, its main features, and the work of the earnest aspirant. Donations Appreciated
